Woodroffe is an excellent school with a national reputation. It is widely recognised as one of the best schools in the southwest.  Woodroffe is the founding school of the Jurassic Coast Teacher Network, leading and supporting an alliance of schools across the region, and is one of only 40 Maths Hubs in the country.

As a successful school, to get the best from our students, we take care of our staff. In addition to an extensive wellbeing offer, we are always looking at how we might reduce workload to ensure a sustainable work-life balance for all.

We believe that just because our staff work in education, they shouldn’t be excluded from those activities that make life fulfilling. At Woodroffe, you will receive excellent professional development opportunities, offering career paths and a potential for promotion within the school.
