- Any candidate who arrives late (after the exam has started) must sign in at Reception and then go straight to the Examinations Manager who will arrange a late start if possible. This may not be possible for short exams, and for longer exams the full time cannot be guaranteed. Exam boards will refuse to mark a paper where candidates arrive very late;

- In the event of the fire alarm sounding, candidates must follow the instructions given by an invigilator.
The Woodroffe School follows the examining body rules and expects all students to abide by those rules.

Summer 2026 Exam Certificates
Summer 2026 exam certificates will arrive at school towards the end of the Autumn term. These are important official documents that provide lifelong proof of your qualifications and may be required by employers, colleges, or universities, sometimes many years after the exams. It is your responsibility to keep them safe.
If certificates are lost or damaged, you will need to apply directly to the exam board for replacements. This process can be both costly and time-consuming.
Certificates can be collected from Reception between 9:00am and 4:00pm on:
- Friday 11 December 2026
- Monday 14 December 2026
If you are unable to collect your certificates in person, you may authorise someone to collect them on your behalf. Please email exams@woodroffe.dorset.sch.uk by Friday 4 December 2026, providing your full name and the name of the person you have authorised to collect your certificates. The nominated person must bring valid photo identification when collecting the certificates.
If you are unable to collect the certificates on either of the dates above, please contact us to arrange an alternative collection time.
Please note that certificates will not be posted. Any certificates that remain uncollected after 12 months will be returned to the exam boards.
