Memories are precious things, particularly shared memories. During the eight years I have edited the ex-students’ newsletter I have become aware of the need to record these memories and the history of the school for posterity.

It is debatable whether school days are the best days of your life but for the vast majority of pupils lucky enough to have attended LRGS/Woodroffe this would seem to have been the case. As I have carried out research for this book, I have been struck by several factors.
