Together We Succeed

Rough Notes

Welcome to our June edition of Rough Notes

As we move into July and the examination season comes to an end, it is a good time to reflect on everything our students have achieved. GCSE and A Level students have shown focus, resilience and determination throughout the past few weeks, and we are incredibly proud of the way they have approached this important stage of their education. We now look ahead to August results days and hope students will join us to celebrate with friends and enjoy a well-earned ice cream.

Beyond the classroom, school life has continued to be full of opportunities and memorable experiences. Year 7 enjoyed an adventure in the Mendips, Year 10 completed work experience placements across a wide range of industries, and students took part in exciting visits and activities including Exeter City FC, Lyme Regis Bowls Club, Palmers Brewery, the University of Bristol and a Mandarin trip to London. These experiences help students grow in confidence, build new skills and discover future possibilities.

As we enter the final weeks of the school year, there is still plenty to look forward to with Junior Awards Evening, Sports Day and Proms just around the corner. Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our school community. We hope you enjoy this latest edition of *Rough Notes* and celebrating another busy and successful month at Woodroffe.
