Together We Succeed

Rough Notes

Welcome to our April edition of Rough Notes. As we move into the summer term, it’s a good time to reflect and celebrate all our school community has achieved. Despite wet and windy weather, students have shown resilience, positivity and determination in their learning, activities and daily school life.

This half-term has been full of success, from classroom progress to sports, performances and acts of kindness. We were also proud to celebrate our Headteacher’s Commendation winners, with two students from each year group recognised for their effort and attitude. Trips to Spain with Valencia CF and to the ski slopes in Bormio gave students exciting new experiences, while our Sixth Form students are now preparing for the Ten Tors challenge in May.

Thank you to our parents and carers for your continued support, which makes a real difference to our students’ success. As the days grow longer, there is a real sense of energy and excitement around school. We look forward to a busy and positive summer term, full of opportunities for our students to do their best and enjoy their achievements.

Congratulations to the students below who were nominated as the outstanding representatives of their cohort for last term. They were treated to hot chocolate and cakes in the Head’s Office where they were also awarded certificates.
