Welcome to our July edition of Rough Notes
As another fantastic school year comes to an end, it is a great chance to celebrate everything our students have achieved. From excellent results in the classroom to success in sport, music, the arts and the wider community, our young people have shown determination, kindness and ambition throughout the year. Thank you to our parents and carers for your continued support, which helps make our school such a positive place to learn. We wish our Year 11 and Year 13 students every success as they move on and look forward to welcoming everyone else back in September.
This month we celebrated our Junior Awards Evening, recognising the hard work, effort and achievements of students in Years 7–9. Congratulations to every award winner and thank you to the families, staff and catering team who helped make the evening so special. We also look forward to celebrating with our Year 11 and Year 13 students on Results Days in August, when they can collect their results, meet friends and enjoy a well-earned ice cream with us.
There have been many other highlights to finish the year, including the Year 11 and Year 13 Proms, a memorable Year 8 visit to Normandy and an exciting Sports Day full of teamwork, competition and fun. Thank you for taking the time to read this edition of Rough Notes. We hope you enjoy celebrating another successful year with us, and we wish everyone a happy, safe and relaxing summer.

Rough Notes - Celebrating 2025-26
As we bring another remarkable school year to a close, this edition of Rough Notes provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the many achievements, experiences and successes that have shaped our journey since September. Looking back over the year, we do so with an enormous sense of pride in all that our students and staff have accomplished, both inside and beyond the classroom.
Throughout the year, our students have demonstrated outstanding effort, determination and resilience. Academic success has been matched by a willingness to embrace new challenges, seize opportunities and support one another along the way.
