Town Mill 2025
Woodroffe school was once again hosted by the Fabulous Town Mill for its annual exhibition in Lyme Regis. This year we were trying to raise funds for Weldmar Hospice care, and our year sevens created some fabulous elephant paintings to both inspire the designs for our school elephant ‘Woody’ and to be sold at the show to raise money for the charity.
They raised nearly £300 and I am incredibly proud of their efforts. Our current school total for this worthy cause is over £700.

We also had amazing work from all year groups on display and feedback from the community was very positive and much appreciated. Our sixth form are currently working with the Town Council and two local artists to create sculptures for Langmoor gardens’ sculpture trail, and maquettes on display at the mill will go on show again in April at the jubilee pavillion.
It was another great show and our thanks go out to Pippa at the Mill and our sixth formers and local volunteers who stewarded the show to ensure it was open to the public.
